We got our first pet, Belvis the turtle. When we found out that Uncle Andrew was coming to visit, Katelyn and her cousins came up with the idea to throw him a turtle party; they were so excited to see him. The reason for the "turtle party," was because that was what they have called him since Hawaii. Katelyn, Mady, and Andy spent lots of time planning it. There was face painting, turtle bowling, a turtle hunt, and even a dance that they performed. Uncle Andrew surprised them, when he bought a turtle, for each of our families. Amazingly it has survived the first couple of weeks. The kids love to look at Belvis, but they don't dare touch him. Thank you Uncle Andrew; you were a great sport, we can't wait to see you again!
